The Family We Plan to Help

Daniel Thomas is a Knoxville teen suffering a life threatening medical condition. He's lost both kidneys and has cardiac complications. Because of his heart condition, he has been removed from the Donor list for a new kidney.

Daniel is able to reside at home for now. But, he requires full-time medical care and numerous doctor & hospital visits. As a result, his mom, Sarah, a single mother of three, is unable to work. Instead, she does what any loving mother would do: She cares for her son full-time.

-----------------------------------------

Please join us in blessing Sarah! During the week of, December 14-23 we're seeking donations to help pay their family's Christmas gifts and essential living expenses (food, clothing and shelter). Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. As a "Thank You" for your donation, we've provided original desktop backgrounds (in the right column of this page) for you to use on your computer.

If you live in Knoxville, please contact Christina or Dez (865.591.1133 or mrscmdavis@hotmail.com) directly to make a donation. If you'd like to know more about this family or want to donate items instead of cash, please contact me for details. We can also pick up items from local donors. Otherwise, you may make a donation by clicking the Paypal button at the top of the page or mailing donations to our home.

Thank you for any gift you can give! PRAYERS ARE DEFINITELY WELCOME!

*The names of the family have been changed.

We're also waiting to receive a donation in the mail out of North Carolina and will pick up food & toiletry donations from a local donor for the Thomas family! We're so excited and overwhelmed!! Thank you to the following donors:

1. Anonymous Donor
2. Melissa & Jon Cox
3. Ariel Cruz
4. Evelyn & Raymond Davis
5. Carolyn Johnson
6. Niccole Sanchez

Some have even listed information about this family and blog in their Facebook Status Updates! We'd also like to especially thank, Tierney Bates, for emailing information about this project through his Knoxville 411 listserv. What a way to spread the word! Thank you so much.
